Last week’s 1970s-themed charity night at Liberty Kitchen in Puerto Pollensa wrapped up the fundraising walk for the Cancer Support Group.
The seven-day trek saw a group of seven women make their way across the GR 221 Dry Stone Walk that crosses the Tramuntana mountains. Anita Vince, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, walked with her sister and old friends. They were joined on various days with friends and family and were supported by Sarah Feltham-Hunt who provided them with logistics and support ie. clean clothes and food!

The walk and the party that followed raised in excess of €4,000 and still counting! “Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, myself and my family have been undertaking a different journey and now I feel I am on the right road to recovery...” Anita added, “To help develop my strength in both body and mind, I decided to walk across the Dry Stone Way and raise money for Cancer Support Group Mallorca, who have helped me through some of the more difficult times.”
