Bye bye Print! (It's not the end)

It’s not the End!

TOTN is a great community paper; it was long before it fell into my hands thanks to Ann MacDonald who started it in 2005 and Graeme and Aimee who took it on in 2009. When it nearly stopped completely in February 2014, there was a great sadness that readers—home-owners, residents, holiday makers alike—were going to miss out on this resource of local news and what’s on. So it was clear TOTN could live on when I relaunched it in April 2014.

I’ve loved working on TOTN and delivering it to the north of Mallorca every fortnight and it is with a little sadness that I have to make this the last printed edition of TOTN. HOWEVER, this is in response to the changing market. Advertisers keep the paper going and if advertisers are looking at wider distribution in print and cheaper online alternatives, I have to respond. TOTN will become a purely online magazine, delivering the same as it always has, just digitally. There is already a huge readership online and I am thrilled to take the paper forward in this direction.

You can sign up to receive the paper online on the Download TOTN page. I have other things in the pipeline so do come back to the website and follow us on social media. There is a TOTN Facebook page we're on Instagram and Twitter

Thank you!
Lastly I would like to say the BIGGEST thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way. The ever reliable Jordi and Jeronima at 4Colors. Charles Nutter is a rock. And of course to Pam and Ray, my in-laws who have physically delivered nearly every paper I have ever printed in Puerto Pollensa and beyond. Thank you. Thank you too to the advertisers who have kept it going so long. Blevins Franks, Specsavers Opticas, Kensington, Dr Joan Ramis and Duran in particular. As well as long-standing supporters Sandra (Casa Sandra), Jan & Les (Hornblower Embroidery), Marga & Jaume at AXA Vives and everyone else who has joined in the past. It’s been fun and I can’t wait to get going with TOTN Online.

Please keep in touch and thanks for reading!
